Sunrise and Sunset in Sharjah
We start our day by taking in the beautiful sunrise as we walk around the city on our way to having an authentic and very mouthwatering Arabic breakfast. This first look into the spectacular city scenery also offers many stunning photography opportunities.
Sharjah is the hub of Islamic history in the Gulf region and has been called the Capital of Islamic Culture. On our first day in this historically and culturally significant city, we will visit the old town, which is often called the heart of Sharjah. We will also be visiting The Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, often hailed as the best museums of Islamic history in the world.
Moving on, we visit the center of Sharjah, which holds some of the best examples of Islamic architecture in its buildings and mosques, making for some spectacular photo opportunities.
Nearing sunset, we will head on to the Al Majaz Fountain, located alongside the waterfront. This colorful fountain shoots water 100 meters into the air in time to the beats of music, and is an excellent place to view the stunning skyline!
After a day of exploring the city of culture and heritage, we head off to our hotel for an overnight stay.
Sunrise in Sharjah. Day Shoot At Fujairah. Sunset at Sharjah.
Rise and shine! We begin our second day well before the sun rises and head on over to Fossil Rock—officially called Jebel Maleihah—to witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises over this area rich in marine fossils. We then move on to Fujairah, which offers more scenic views of the mountains and historical places.
Next, we head off to Wadi Wurayah, considered to be one of the best natural reserves in the Al Bidiyah area. Located in the Emirates of Fujairah, between the towns of Masafi and Khor Fakkan, this natural water catchment area is home to more than a hundred different species of birds, reptiles, and amphibians and is famous for its scenic waterfalls.
We end our day by looking upon one of the most beautiful sceneries as the sun sets in between the mountains from our vantage point at the beach.
We will then return to Sharjah to spend our night at the hotel.
Day at Ras al-Khaimah
We start day three by heading off to Ras al-Khaimah, the capital of another of the seven emirates of the same name which make up the UAE. The journey to the mountainous city is filled with picturesque views of red mountains, huge boulders, and exotic trees, which make the perfect backdrop for pictures. The town itself offers one of the best views of the mountains around the entire area.
After shooting the sunset atop the mountains of Ras al-Khaimah, our day will end at our last night in our hotel back in Sharjah.
Heading to Abu Dhabi!
Early the next morning, we pack up and leave our hotel in Sharjah and head to Abu Dhabi, where we will be spending two days taking in all the luxurious city has to offer.
Once we reach Abu Dhabi—almost a 2-hour drive from Sharjah—we will head on to one of the most luxurious hotels in the city, the Emirates Palace, also known as Qasr al Emarat. Explore the beauty and luxury of the palace and take as many pictures as you want of this paradise on earth!
Next, we head on to Sheikh Zayed Mosque—one of the largest mosques of the world—at blue hour, offering the chance for some truly spectacular photos of the place.
We end our day at the Abu Dhabi Hotel, where we will be staying overnight.
ABU DHABI
Once again, we will start our day well before the sun rises in order to catch the sunrise in the Al Wathba Desert at golden hour. This desert is also one of the densest places in the UAE when it comes to fossils.
Our next stop will be the Liwa Oasis in Abu Dhabi, which is a perfect spot for shooting the desert around, sand dunes as well as the sunset.
Prepare yourself to experience how the Arabians party! Our day will come to an end with a spectacular fire and dance show alongside dinner at a hotel boasting views of sand dunes and good weather. The perfect end to a perfect day!
Discover all that’s Possible in Dubai
It’s time for some wildlife spotting! We make our way to Al Qudra Lakes well before sunrise to capture the sun rising over the horizon of the lake, in addition to some bird spotting. Al Qudra Lakes are home to desert foxes and even oryxes! We then head back to our hotel for a day of rest.
Before sunset, we make our way to the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah, the perfect location to capture the Dubai Marina skyline in all its beauty.
Next on our itinerary is exploring the Dubai Marina and capturing the skyscrapers up close.
Finally, we head over to our hotel in Marina view to end our day.
Burj Khalifa
Start the morning right with a visit right to the top of the tallest building of the world! We head on over to the Burj Khalifa to capture some genuinely astounding pictures of the view of Dubai in the crisp early morning lighting.
Our next stop is the famous dancing fountains at the foot of the enormous tower, after exploring which we will head on to the largest mall in UAE, Dubai mall. Here you get the opportunity to take some stunning indoor shots of this architectural magnificence.
After a delicious lunch, we head on over to the creekside to experience Dubai in all its glory until just before sunset. During the blue hour, we will take some genuinely dazzling pictures of the city and nightlife of this hub of entertainment.
We finish off our day with a mouthwatering and highly luxurious meal with a splendid view of the dancing fountains at Dubai mall, before heading off back to our hotel.
